Privacy

home-os is a private household service for shared lists and groceries. This page explains how it handles your information.

Sign-in information

Google sign-in provides your account identifier, email address and basic profile information through WorkOS. We use this information to sign you in and check your household access. home-os does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive or Google Calendar.

Household information

Lists, items, sharing permissions and records of household operations are stored in Convex. They are available only to people and connected agents with the appropriate access. A list link alone does not grant access.

Service providers and connected agents

Vercel hosts the application and its isolated agent execution service; WorkOS handles authentication; Convex stores household data. When you connect an agent such as a ChatGPT Dot, it can read or change household information within your permissions. Information returned to that agent is also handled under its provider's policies. home-os does not sell your personal information or use Google account information for advertising.

Sessions, retention and requests

Essential cookies keep you signed in. Household data and operation records remain stored for collaboration, retries and recovery. Revoking access does not remove information someone has already received. Contact the household administrator at bwishan@gmail.com to request access changes or data removal, or to ask a privacy question.
